FELTS FOR THE GLASS INDUSTRY
Hardy and Hanson felts have
numerous applications in flat glass processing. We have been specifying and
supplying the industry for over 50 years.
We stock and finish to customers' requirements an extensive
range of cladding and cushioning felts widely used in autocut and manual tables,
glass-carrying vehicles, trolleys, racking and separator pads. As density
and thickness vary with application, each type is stocked in a wide range
of qualities to suit every need.
The natural qualities of wool - compressibility, elasticity and resistance
to ageing and wear, dictate that wool or blended wool felts are ideal for
most of these applications. However, with the recent and on-going development
of synthetic felts, they can offer advantageous alternatives in many cases.
